Michael Corrigan, CEO
Michael is an ex-offender and co-founder of Prosper. He spent over a year in Brixton and Belmarsh prisons, being released in 2013. Together with Steve Newell,and Andrew Dixon fellow co-founders at Prosper, Michael’s passion is to change the way in which work and employment opportunities are provided to offenders, in order to support resettlement. Quality outcomes are the key drivers for Michael: he wants to change the accepted norm of mundane and minimal standards in the justice sector; and he wants to ensure positive outcomes result from his work.
A former civil servant, Ed Tullett has recently retired after 35 years with the prison service. During this time, he was the Governing Governor at four prisons, concluding his career as Governor of HMP Brixton. Ed now works for the London Community Rehabilitation Company and has also joined the Prosper 4 Group as an Associate. His appointment is a first for the Justice sector - a former prison governor joining a business established by reformed prisoners. Ed’s insights and experience will be invaluable to the development of Prosper.
Andy Gibson is a multi-lingual graduate engineer, who developed his skills in international sales and marketing with a number of UK-based international companies, culminating in several interim appointments within and outside those companies reviewing and turning around overseas business units. On his return to the UK, Andy set up his own company as an advisor and trainer in international trade. Taking advantage of opportunities presented, the company also imported and distributed engineered products from Germany. His main focus is still on developing training and advice business with new partners world-wide (in English, French German and Spanish)
James is currently leading Prospers Jobs Brokerage activity. He is an independent consultant, with previously over 30 years’ recruitment company experience to the U.K. and international oil and gas industry. In 1986 and 2001, he established 2 staffing companies and substantially grew each for 10 years, before successfully exiting both with trade sales. In 2001, he co-developed and launched a recruitment and job-posting portal encompassing a global industry consultant network database. James has an MBA and a Post Grad Diploma from Aberdeen University & Robert Gordons Institute of Technology.
